Numbers...
so much is centered around them...
anniversaries...
weight...
age...
given so much importance....
almost too much....
so what if it one more...
or one less...
or horrors of it two...
and how much is too much....
does any of it even make a difference?

There are some numbers that are significant. A 50th wedding anniversary, 100th birthday- those are all huge milestones but in the larger scheme of things, a number here or there, a year older or younger doesn't have to make that much of a difference.
P.S. The title is "second anniversary". Can I ask of what?
numbers--and in specific, anniversaries, birthdays, those kinds of yearly markers--are a way to gauge how much you've come in the span of a year. i think they're a great opportunity for self-reflection...
so although most people over the age of 25 grumble about their advancing birthdays, my uncle always pipes up, "well...would you prefer the alternative?..."
something to think about...
HS: Don't think I'm up to such big numbers yet in anything ;). It is the second anniversary of my joining the blog world. (If you remember my first blog...)
CP:So basically the number is not significant rather it is the day and what you do with it and how you spend it. Hmm, it is indeed something to think about.
Yes, I do remember your first blog and I can't believe it's two years. Come to think of it, it's nearly my second anniversary in the blog world too! So, are we going to celebrate?
HS: This one is for you :)

You probably have to copy and paste. I'm rubbish at how all this blog linking etc works.
